Privacy Policy

This site is run by Amber Smiles. It is a personal site about product reviews — there are no accounts, no logins, and nothing to buy here. This page explains the small amount of information the site handles and who else sees it.

The short version

This site sets no cookies and does not track you across the web. The only information you actively give it is whatever you type into the brand inquiry form. If you would like that removed, email [email protected] and it will be deleted.

What the inquiry form collects

The form on the Work With Me page asks for your name and work email, and optionally your company, company website, product category, requested deliverables, target timeline, budget range, a message, and how you found me. Only the name, email and the consent checkbox are required — every other field can be left blank.

Submissions are handled by Formspree, which passes them to my email inbox. Formspree processes the message in transit and keeps a copy in its own system; their handling is covered by their privacy policy. I use what you send to reply to you and to work out whether a partnership makes sense. I do not sell it, and I do not add you to a mailing list — there isn’t one.

Inquiries stay in my email inbox so I can refer back to our conversation. Ask me to delete one and I will.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and clicks on the main buttons. It is cookieless and reports in aggregate — it tells me that a page was viewed, not who viewed it, and it does not follow you to other sites.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking technology, which is why you have not been asked to accept any. Note that once you follow an outbound link, the site you land on applies its own rules — see below.

Other services involved in loading a page

Visiting any website reveals your IP address to the servers that deliver it. For this site that means:

• Vercel hosts the site, and Cloudflare sits in front of it to deliver pages quickly. Both keep standard server logs.
• Google Fonts serves the two typefaces the site uses, so Google receives a request from your browser when a page loads.

Affiliate and sponsored links

I take part in the Amazon Associates programme and similar programmes with other retailers, so some links here earn me a commission if you buy something. It never changes the price you pay. Following one of those links hands you over to that retailer, who will usually set their own cookies to attribute the visit — that is their process, under their privacy policy, not mine.

Brands sometimes send me a product to review. I say so on the video and on the card here when they do, and it never buys a good word.

Children

This site is aimed at adults, particularly brands looking to work with a creator. It is not directed at children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — email [email protected] and I will take care of it. You do not need a particular legal reason to ask, and nothing bad happens if you do. The simplest way to share nothing at all is not to submit the form; you can browse every page without it.

Changes

If the site gains anything that handles your information differently, I will update this page and change the date at the top.
